A glimpse into my closet:

Happy Holidays, guys! I'm uploading this on New Years, even though I wore this outfit for a Christmas party I went to. That's because I don't wanna upload it, saying, "Merry Christmas!", and be 4 days too late. Or say, "Happy New Year!", and be 3 days too early. So anyways, down below is pictures of my dress for Christmas day. Hope you guys like it!
I'm wearing a sleeveless collared dress in the color, 'Beet Red', bought from Pacsun. It has a pattern of flowers throughout the dress, and reaches to your knees, or higher, depending on your height and how high you cinch it at the waist. How you cinch it also determines whether the dress is the same length throughout, or a high-low skirt. I kind of went for the in between look, with a subtle high-low skirt.

Since it was the first day of winter, it was a bit nippy outside, and I shiver and chatter easily, I added this comfy knit sweater from Rue 21.

I wore plain white flats with bows on the toes. I forgot to grab my jewelery before I left the house, so I had nothing on at the party. ):
I was in love with the dress the moment I saw it, and when I turned it around and saw the gorgeous lace detailing on the back, I was giddy from excitement. But I absolutely freaked when I went to smooth down my dress and found my hand shoved into the pockets. Pockets! Currently the best dress in the world, in my opinion. c: Tell me your opinion, and I'll get back to you.(:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Yen

Hiya Guys! I know that the guys at Influenster are mad at me. Heck, I'm mad at me. I got my College Vox Box a few weeks ago, and I was supposed to blog about it straight away. But I got caught up in school work and ballet, and just-blah.

Anyways! What is Influenster you say? Influenster is a community for trendsetters to share new products they've discovered. They share their opinions and reviews with each other, and earn the opportunity to receive free products to sample in the form of a 'Vox Box'.

Well, I got my College Vox Box a while back, and I am extremely thankful to Influenster for choosing me!
Down below are pictures of the products I received and their reviews.

Press on nails by the brand imPRESS.
Putting them on, I was suprised at how easy they were to use. You just peel a sticker off, and stick it on your nails, and BAM-instant beautification.
What I didn't like about this product was the way it looks. The product overall is great, but I'm not a fan of fake nails, and especially not a fan of hot pink and black animal print.
But out of 10, I'd give it an 8, for good quality.

My next product was energy sheets by, err, Energy Sheets? Anyways, I don't mind the flavor, but the aftertaste is too much. It's overly minty, and the sheets are way too thick to dissolve in seconds. I didn't really notice any 'energy boost', but that may just be because I only ate one.
Overall, I give it a 5 out of 10.

Next, I sampled an eyeliner pencil by NYC. It was a good product overall, doesn't smudge too much, and spreads on easily.
Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10.

Lastly, I received a pen by ENERGel. It writes in blue ink, and writes pretty well. I've used it often for classes so far, and I like it.
Overall, I give it a 9 out of 10.

So, guys! I really hope that you'll check out Influenster soon! It's an amazing site that has given me loads of opinions on what I should or shouldn't buy. It's helped me bunches, and I hope it'll help you too.

Later Alligators,

Lavender Nails

Lavender Nails

Hey, buds. Today, I was walking my dog through my dad's garden; Gelato sniffing the pungent fertilizer, me admiring the bright yellow chrysanthemums sitting on top. That got me thinking about flowers. Roses, sunflowers, daisies, tulips, lavender. Lavender! A light purple hue that got me giddy just thinking about it. So, here I am.

                                The color I used was:

I, sadly, am not a fantastic photographer. So it's blurry. If you can't read it, it says 'Sweet Hook'

And here are my nails:

Ignore my horrifying cuticles.

And another picture. This was taken in AP Human Geography while I was bored out of my mind.
They look white though. Boo. But, wait. That only enhances the fact that lavender is a subtle, soothing color.
There you go.(:

And here is those gorrgeouss chrysanthemums I was talking about earlier. I nestled the bottle in there to make it go with this post.

Happy December 1st,
